MDSO Leads Civic Sectionals MDSO coached hundreds of students Saturday in Civic sectional rehearsals at Orchestra Hall.  Ted Oien – clarinet, Haden McKay – cello, Corbin Wagner – French horn, Marian Tanau – violin and Shelley Heron – oboe were among more than a dozen DSO musicians who led all day-classes helping student prepare their repertoire for their upcoming concerts in November.

	Detroit’s Labor Day Parade 2011   The Musicians of the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, AFM Local 5 and Save Our Symphony  join the 2011 Labor Day Parade on Woodward Avenue in Detroit.

The Flash Player and a browser with Javascript support are needed..	MDSO back on-stage April 8-9, 2011   After a 6 month strike… MDSO photographers Hart Hollman and Ethan Allen had their cameras in hand, capturing the orchestra’s emotional return to the stage of Orchestra Hall.
